One of my favorite things about Valentine’s Day are those pretty little conversation hearts. I actually can’t stand the taste of them but I love the look. Usually I just buy a bag or two, dump them in a big apothecary jar and put them out as decoration. My next most favorite thing to do with them? Write love notes.
My oldest has been crafting conversation heart notes for awhile now and Mr. C…well he just likes gluing the hearts on paper. If your child is somewhere in between in terms being able to construct the entire note for themselves try using a mad libs approach (see below photo).
No matter how you write your love notes, all you need are plenty of conversation hearts, paper, a writing utensil & glue.
If you’ve never tried it I highly recommend it. It’s guaranteed to make you giggle!
