I’m gonna be honest. My four year old loves his screen time. I think when used wisely screen time can really be a good thing (for example when mommy desperately needs a shower). Heehee. Kidding aside. There are some really educational games and apps out there and Vtech nails it with their Innotab Max. 
The InnoTab Max is designed for kids ages 3-9 and while that’s quite the age range it really lives up to being a device that can grow with your child. I like that it has a large range of educational apps to choose from . It comes with a bundle of eight educational apps that can be downloaded after registering the tablet on the Learning Lodge app store as well as an app called My Magic Beanstalk (which happens to be my guys FAVORITE app on there right now), Movie Maker, Art Studio and Wonder Cam MAX. Bonus points because it has the camera function. My kids get so excited about stuff like that! Selfie anyone? 
I’ll be honest. We’ve haven’t bought any other apps for it yet and I will hold out for as long as I can but I would plan on buying apps at some point if you are investing in this tablet for your child. There are a wide array available and this one tablet should grow with your child for a quite a while. I also like that it’s sturdy, feels very well made and is easy enough for little hands to use.
