Our Weekly Playlist Vol. 4

1.  This week we played with Bottle Caps. I’ve been saving them for awhile and will continue to do so. They have been a bigger hit than I expected. And why not, all different colors and sizes. Very interesting for little hands to explore. Good for scooping and transferring too :)

2. We made bracelets out of pasta and pipe cleaners.  The little Mister had as much fun putting the bracelets on and taking them off as he did making them. He did need a little help holding the pipe cleaner while stringing the pasta so it wouldn’t fall off the other end.

3. Chinese Checkers. This was an unintentional but fun discovery. I had left the game out after playing it with my eight year old the night before and Mister C just had to “see”.  He entertained himself for quite awhile putting the marbles on the board and also rolling them around in the tin.

4. Exploring water with strainers. Very basic but very captivating. We threw in a few rubber ducks for added fun.

5. And because we can’t forget that the very littlest ones like to play too… our babe is a bit more interested in playing now too so we dug out a new toy for him.
