Don’t googly eyes make everything better? That’s the idea that ‘hatched’ these little buddies anyway. Looking at our brightly colored eggs this year, we thought they needed a little something more. Perhaps a little character? Literally. So, we pulled out the googly eyes and a few other various craft supplies along with the hot glue gun and went to town. I’m so pleased to introduce you to our (Easter) Egg Buddies. They were ‘over-ly easy’ to make.
Oh and we learned an important egg decorating tip along the way. Cut up a paper towel or toilet paper tube and it makes great egg holders for drying, decorating, or displaying eggs. See [below]! In fact. in hindsight, we could have painted our paper towel holder and given our Egg Buddies some clothes.
