Six Months. No way, I refuse to believe it. Being my last baby I am reluctant to let these months go. The amount of change you have been through over the last six months is amazing. You get cuter, smarter, brighter and more curious every day. You are captivating. Everyone agrees you are the happiest baby we’ve ever seen. You have changed this family and made it better, sweeter, softer. You are the piece of our puzzle that was missing and I am so glad it’s complete.
As I’m writing this, you are playing peekaboo with me with one of your little toys. You don’t know it’s peekaboo yet but your smile is big and your eyes are wide and you are having fun. Oh those big blue eyes. You will break hearts one day.
At six months (as you have been since birth) you are sweet, gentle and love a good snuggle. Your favorite toys are the soft squishy ones (which I think fits your personality perfectly) and you love to chew on a good blanket. You are an experienced baby now. No more newbie stuff. You have grown to love any contraption that can put you in an upright position. You haven’t had anything more than breastmilk yet but you are eyeing our food at the dinner table like you wish to devour it so I think that day is imminent. You are a great snuggler. You know perfectly how to lay your head in the crook of my neck.
You love watching the dog, the cat, your brothers. You are a lover of life. I can already tell. Hardly ever fussy. Daddy says he didn’t know they made babies like you.
Loving you and looking forward to watching you grow little one.
