I have been wanting to do this forever. Put together a cute, classy, & simple sensory bin. I’ve walked by these little wooden storage boxes at Michaels a bazillion times but never bought one…until finally I did. 
I haven’t brought you any kind of sensory bin series in a long time. Probably not since the boys were little and we did our “My First Sensory Bin Series”. Those were great & we loved them but the boys aren’t babies any more and it’s time for something a little more sophisticated. I love our new sensory bin! The kids love our new sensory bin! We are actually calling it a Sensory Bin for All Seasons and I plan to update the theme monthly. The kids are psyched! 
I love that they can use this at the kitchen table. I love that when it’s time to put it away I can put the lid on it and store it (and if it’s out on a shelf it looks pretty). I love that we could actually pack it and take it with us on vacation if we want to. I love that they can use it for a little quiet play in their rooms. 
This month’s theme, red white & blue of course for the 4th of July.
Supply list:
- wooden memory box (I found this one at our local Michaels)
- wooden scoops
- wooden buckets
- wooden bowls
- white rice
- large buttons (similar here)
- acrylic star gems (usually you can find these at your local craft store or dollar store)
