We tried a new method of dying our Easter Eggs last weekend. Have you seen this? Easter eggs dyed using shaving cream & food coloring. I saw this video come across my Facebook feed the other day and instantly I knew we had to try it.
Well let me tell you, it was fun! And yielded gorgeous results.
However, let me also tell you your kids’ hands (as well as yours) will end up looking like this…
for days….
But it will be totally worth it!
Just look at these gorgeous, vibrant, marbly (that’s a word right?) colored eggs. How could you not get addicted to dying Easter eggs this way.
I had as much of a blast as my five year old.
You’ve gotta try it! (Supply list of affiliate links below for your convenience)
- cookie sheet, paper plates, or other type of tray (like THESE)
- liquid food coloring
- cotton swabs
- shaving cream
- paper towels
Oh, and one little tip. The longer you let them sit in the shaving cream before wiping them off the better!
Happy Easter!
