For the month of June I’ve decided to take on a photography challenge. 30 photos. 1 photo a day for the month of June. (Hosted by Click it up a Notch & Shutterbag USA if you are interested).
Admittedly I pick up the camera most every day anyway but I’ve never really committed to formalizing it into a particular project. It’s also not always my dslr that I grab. My phone is often what’s handy so some days it’s just that. That being said, this month I’ve decided to simply challenge myself not only by participating in the #clickaday challenge, but by taking a photo every day with my dslr, and for the most part trying to be a little creative with what I capture. Some days I’ve just not had time for more than a snapshot but when I can, I’m trying to push myself a little bit and step out of my usual. Thus those images of that fly. Not my usual choice of subject haha.
So… this is what our first week looked like in photos. Popcorn. Trips to the park. Summer is here, I know because those pesky flies are back in the house. Furbabies deserve to be documented too. Â Waiting for big brother to arrive home from school is a highly anticipated part of our days. Baby curls are something I always want to remember and little (almost 3 yr old) boys like to go fishing (especially with Dad).
If you want to follow along I’m posting daily updates over on Facebook on my photography page. I’d love to have you pop in for a visit over there!
And as usual I’m linking this Sunday’s post up to the Simple Things Sunday photography share.
It looks like you’re having fun with this project. I’m just getting started as an amateur photographer and I’m really enjoying it.
