Plain Vanilla Mom

Simply Don’t Try So Hard

in Photography, Simple Sundays, Uncategorized on 04/05/14

Isn’t that always the way? Love finds you when you aren’t trying so hard to find it. The perfect outfit jumps out at you when you aren’t actively shopping for it.  The days that actually seem to go the smoothest are the ones when you are not trying so hard to make them go that way.

Trying hard, doing your best, it’s all important. But sometimes it just isn’t necessary to try quite so hard.

Some of my favorite photos of my boys are ones that were taken when I wasn’t really “trying” at all but just sitting, playing, and shooting from the heart.

This week I vow to simply not try so hard such that I actually inadvertently get in the way of myself.
