Plain Vanilla Mom

Simply Curious

in Photography, raising butterflies, Simple Sundays, summer on 31/05/14

If you follow us on instagram or Facebook you know we have been living and breathing curiosity this week. You’ve probably seen more than a few sneak peeks of our caterpillars.

Simply Curious

Every summer we raise painted lady butterflies and this year is no exception. Our “friends” arrived last weekend and we’ve been studying them intently the last week now. I’m having as much fun as the kids are being that this year I have taken on the project of documenting, by way of photographing, our caterpillars growth every day. I can’t wait to share the entire project with you start to finish!

Raising Painted Ladies Raising caterpillars

As you can imagine the level of curiosity in this house is unmatched. From the very youngest to the oldest everyone is anxious to check on our caterpillars morning noon and night.  Sometimes I forget how much fun it is to simply be curious.

This post is also linked up over at Simple Things Sunday hosted by two of my very favorite blogs. Simple as That  & Kids Stuff World.

Thank you 🙂 and you should! It’s such an awesome experience. It’s one of those things that ‘s new again every year to them.
