Plain Vanilla Mom

What’s On Our Bookshelf

in books, family, learning, our bookshelf on 13/05/14

I love new books don’t you? The only thing I love more than new books for myself are new books for my kids. We have So.Many.Books.

I thought it might be fun to start a little series and share our favorite books with you from time to time. This first set are classic favorites that all three of my boys have loved from as early as I could read to them. All these books are still going strong in our collection years later.

Oh and I promise all these books are ones that I enjoy reading with them as well!

On Our Bookshelves
  1. Caps for Sale
  2. Tumble Bumble
  3. Red Truck
  4. Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You
  5. The Goodnight Train
  6. Peek-A Zoo
  7. Dog Blue

If the boys had to pick there favorites, I don’t think they could,  these books are all on repeat. Caps for Sale is a big hit no matter the age group. And The Goodnight Train has been a winner right around age three for all my boys. Peek-A-Zoo is perfect for babies and toddlers and never fails to elicit giggles at the end. Dog Blue is just an adorable read and well… you get the idea. They are all on the list for a reason!

What are you reading?

Lets help each other get inspired and stock those bookshelves by sharing your child’s favorite books in the comments.

Aria is loving anything by Nancy Tillman, and so is mama…she loves signing all the animals from the beautiful illustrations.
