Plain Vanilla Mom

Love Rocks

in diy, Valentine's Day on 30/01/14

My husband rocks! I mean he literally rocks. See…

hubby

Occasionally I like to remind him just how much I think he rocks. (How did I get to be such a lucky gal anyway?)

Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse,  so I put together this little bag of ‘love rocks’ to remind him.

Love Rocks

A few flat rocks, a small muslin drawstring bag, red paint & a metallic sharpie.

I wrote “I love you” on one side of the rocks and then a reason on the flip side.

For the bag I used a cookie cutter to trace a heart shape and then painted it in red. To keep the paint from bleeding through,  put a small piece of paper inside the bag while painting it.

Love Rocks

I’m thinking I’ll tuck this in hubby’s coat pocket so he can find it on his way to work one morning. Then he’ll know just how much I think being loved by him rocks. (haha, sorry couldn’t help myself).

Love Rocks
