Plain Vanilla Mom

Catapult Wars

in big kids, crafty, reviews on 16/08/12

One of the very cool things about having this blog is that its given me opportunities to try some really cool products for my kids. Most recently the folks at CraftProjectIdeas.com sent me this Catapult Wars Kit  free of charge for my kids to play with. The boys (hubby included) were all over this opportunity!

Looks cool right?  It was…
My eight year old needed a little help with the glue but other than that it was very easy to put together. He was a little bummed a couple of the steps required for the glue to dry in between but the end result was worth the wait.

He was so anxious to play with it he didn’t even bother to put the stickers on one of the catapults (and to be honest I’m not sure he followed the instructions when putting the stickers on the other). He did have fun though! It’s a cool little craft, and lots of fun after the fact too. It comes with little bean bags and targets so you can battle but I have to tell you,  A thought it was much more fun to just launch the bean bags across the living room floor at the wall in a competition to see whose bean bag could be flung the farthest.

If you are not already, be sure and Follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
We don’t want you to miss any of the fun!
